Will an in-plant office fit under our low ceiling?

Almost always. We measure to the lowest obstruction and set the walls to clear it, often with room for a light fixture above the ceiling grid. A low building only rules out stacking a second level.

What do you need from us to price a Shively office?

The footprint you want, clear height, how many people will work inside, and any door or window ideas. Photos help. From that we send a layout drawing and an itemized quote, at no charge.

Can the office go up while our lines are running?

Yes. Panels are staged out of forklift paths and the work area is kept to the office footprint. Experienced installation crews we schedule and manage sequence the job around your shifts.

Can we add a room onto the office later?

Yes. Because the panels bolt together, another bay can be attached when you need it. If you expect growth, say so during design and we will plan the wall line and wiring for the addition.

We plan, supply, and install modular offices in Shively for the older manufacturing and warehouse buildings that line this part of west Louisville. Most of what we put in here are in-plant offices: one-story prefab offices that fit under a low roof line and still leave the aisles open.

Older buildings reward careful measuring, and that is where every Shively project begins.

Single-Story In-Plant Offices Under a Low Roof

Buildings in Shively, much like those in neighboring Rubbertown and the urban core, tend to have less clear height than newer distribution space. We take a tape to the lowest beam, light, or pipe run, then set wall height to clear it.

A modular in-plant office works well in that envelope. The walls are panels, a roof deck spans the walls, and the room is anchored to the floor without any framing crew on site.

Shively Modular Office FAQs

Plain answers for plant and warehouse managers.

Heat, Cold, and Noisy Machines

Few older plants here are air-conditioned. Summer air on the floor gets hot and sticky, and winter mornings run cold, so each office gets an HVAC unit picked for the people inside and the heat around them.

When a compressor or press is the real problem, an equipment enclosure quiets it at the source. Shared panels mean the office and enclosure can sit side by side.
